Just Another Wednesday Update

I logged in today, as I generally do every day, after checking the news section of Star Stable's website.  While I'm overall pleased with the fact that they keep small updates coming, this update was so small it was hardly large enough to be called an update!  One quest was added: a package got lost on the road between Wolf's Hall Inn and greater Jarlaheim, and you have to find it and return it to the owner.  The package is a pair of new glasses for the NPC who gives you the daily quests in Jarlaheim and whose name I cannot remember right now.  (It's okay, he always forgets my name, too, as he surely does yours, as well!)  The touted reward for said quest is his old pair of glasses, which have their own bit of charm as they're huge on any character's face and may have a slight bit of hipster appeal.  The rest of the update was an addition to Zed [the rocker]'s shop, with some tack and leg wraps with a black and periwinkle flame pattern.  I bought the leg wraps because I thought they were quite cute, but the tack doesn't have stats to make up for its cost, so I held off on that.

In this photo you can see my new leg wraps, as well as an NPC that has an exclamation mark over her head but does not currently offer a quest - she does not yet have a name, either.  She wanders around the center of Jarlaheim.

Here's a better shot of the new leg wraps.  What you can't see in this screenshot is the reason I took it: the pets whose nails you are supposed to trim.  They are completely invisible and all you can see is the sparkles that indicate a quest area.  You can still complete the daily quest that requires you to trim the pets' nails, but you can't see them.  The pets you have to bathe seem unaffected by this bug.  Previously, there was a bug that made it so that you received only one nail clipper and only one bucket of water, and both quests didn't work because they each required multiples of the items - they got used up if you used them one time.  Thankfully they fixed that and the quests are now doable.  There was also a bug during Easter that made the pets lined up over on the side here appear really large and distorted.  They're probably trying to fix that so that could be the reason why they're not showing up at all now.

Ferdinand's traveling horse market is on the move again, and has not yet settled down and opened shop.  I can't wait to see the new tinkers and I really hope they're not disappointing and just a recolor of the existing Friesian models.

Stars Over the Field Daily Quest

This post is intended to help those who are stuck or lost on the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest offered by Mario at the Observatory.  He tells you there are three stars that fell overnight, and then shows you through the telescope where they fell, but does not mark these locations on your map.  In order to review the locations, you must ride all the way back to the Observatory and check the telescope again. I've taken screenshots of the view through the telescope as well as the close-up view with my map included in the photo, in order to better show the location. Star Stone between boulders: Star Stone near ditch: It may be helpful at this time to mention that it is a little ways away from the bonfire for Midsummer Festival. Star Stone near the Baroness' race track: This one is really easy, so easy that I forgot to include a map picture.  It's right next to the gondola and construction area as soon as you come down from

Who let the donkeys out? (A Star Stable guide to save time!)

Heya StarFam, what’s up? I just finished finding all the mini-donkeys added on Wednesday’s update, thanks in large part to Minatozy’s video (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuW1lZiOE-g ) Because she already made such a great guide, I’d like to offer a different approach. Her video showed the donkeys in the order they’re listed in the journal. I’m going to show you the best route to take to waste the least amount of time. Read first : All listed coordinates are in x, y format. You can view coordinates by opening your in-game map and moving your mouse pointer over different areas of the map. The coordinates are listed above the description in the tooltip above your mouse pointer, in white font. (Some areas will say the name of the area [like The Forgotten Fields] next to the coordinates. Some won’t.) It will also show your current coordinates in the bottom right side of your map. It doesn’t show them on the minimap. If you left-mouse click on an area of the map, it will creat
