Star Stable Online Etc

It took about 3 days of questing, doing all available quests, for the Kallters to show up in their special spot, as shown here. Note the map in the image for a more detailed view of where they are located, which is outside the giant door up the 'Hidden Road'. It will, unfortunately, take a long time to get my rep up enough with them to be able to buy a Fjord horse, but there are many days of dailies required by the other quest givers in the zone (Nic and Prof. Einstein) so hopefully the time won't feel terribly dreadful. If you have any calculations or notations regarding the rep grind, how long it takes, or have any tips for those of us who have not yet done it, please comment below. Today is Wednesday, April 23rd and it's finally the day of the new content release. This weekend I noticed that Alex in Silverglade has a new quest available - if you have the rep: Presumably this requires maximum rep with the Lightning Circle, something I'm still quite far from. Thankfully, the new quests featuring Starshine and Lisa do not require that rep. The quests begin with Starshine, who is running around Greendale (the area you have to run from when you come over the bridge into the Harvest Counties).  Once you catch up to him (he moves rather fast) you have to listen to his story, which takes awhile, and eventually he will tell you to meet him at the Gray Mist Mountains (I think it's called) which is somewhere near the Unfortunate Dews Farm, in that giant unused area.   I believe you have to be at least level 14, possibly 15, and have to have finished the rest of the story quests, to be able to start these.   This is an expansion of the actual storyl...

Despite the arrangement of my title, I'm going to start off this post discussing today's Pandoric Rifts.  As many of you know, Star Stable has a daily schedule for daily quests and the rifts are the main end-game daily.  Every Tuesday the Pandoric Rifts are located in the same exact spots.  Well, while doing mine today I realized that the assistance I usually receive from SSO Ridethrough  is a tiny bit confusing in this instance, so I've decided to post a screenshot that shows exactly where the hidden rift is. This is the one closest to Valedale on Tuesdays but it's a bit off the beaten path. I've been casually playing while trying to do my daily rifts, in the hopes of getting my reputation with the Lightning Circle high enough to take part in the new content on the 23rd.  I haven't been playing that much, mostly because I've been preoccupied with life, but I've also started playing another game that takes up very little time - Flight Rising . ...

Yesterday's update to Star Stable brought with it three new horses, but no new content.  I'm continually disappointed with the lack of substantial additions. There is one horse out of the three new ones that I would consider purchasing, but I definitely won't be spending any additional money on the game (already have lifetime) until they take care of us long-term players.  I'm a little over level 15 with almost nothing to do in the game.  Sure, I can compete in races and do dailies, but it seems like a penalty - like I'm forced to do these things, not that they're a fun 'extra' as they ought to be. Here are some screenshots of the new horses. There's a dark brown/bay Arabian at Valedale Village, whose price I didn't check (it's probably 910 SC). For those of us who have trouble memorizing in-game locations after viewing vague imagery for only a few seconds, I've created this guide to the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest given by Mario at the Observatory for A.A.E. reputation. Each day has a different set of three locations for the stars that have fallen. Today, Star Stone 1 was in the ditch near the Midsummer bonfire. Yesterday I didn't have the opportunity to play too much, but hopefully today I will and maybe even be able to give some better screenshots of Mario's dailies!  I believe each daily, like with fishing , is determined by the day of the week, so maybe I'll be able to break that down better.

Apparently today was a really good day to invest some time in the dailies that Mario offers at the Observatory.  I believe every daily quest possible was available today, with each one (with the exception of the race) giving 90 reputation points. I'm not sure, but I think the 'Stars Over the Field' quest has different locations based on the day of the week. Here are the locations today: Star Stone 1 was located near the druid stone near the Mill Hill of Will (the windmill).
