A few logins ago, I bought two new horses with some excess star coins. The first was the gray Lipizzan. The second was the speckled Mustang. (Yes, I'm sure there's a real word for that, but I don't know what it is. It looks sorta like an Appaloosa but it's a Mustang so...) Meet Silverwings! He's obviously not impressed with Chaun's antics. Give me the rainbow "pet" already!!! I've leveled both only slightly but now that the app to raise your own baby horse in Star Stable is out, I sorta regret buying Meteorsmash. I'm going to raise the pinto Mustang, which is prettier than but similar in color to the horse I have now. I like the way the next horse, which is currently a foal, looks more. I've tentatively named my foal Wildfeather, but I really like that I can change it whenever I'd like. What do you think of the name? Yesterday I got to meet Berzelius the Engineer and her pooch Swedenborg and might I say, Star Stable, I am impressed.  You managed to create a smart, attractive character with gray in her hair, a female engineer, someone who is at least partially complex, which is more than I can say for some of the other characters I've run into recently. She looks so fancy astride my sweetie, Snowangel This is her informing us that she's too overqualified for the menial junk Prof. Einstein insists of her I'm a fan of a page on Facebook called Mighty Girls, and it's all about empowering female youth to understand their potential and this character gives me hope.  Granted, this game is already rather female-centric, but many of the characters are lacking any sort of complexity.  Add to that the fact that during the first quest, the text initially led me to believe she was a male character - with a strange name, etc - that finding out she was a cutie was a pleasa...

Happy April Fool's Day everyone!  In spirit of the holiday, Star Stable offers a repeatable pseudo-quest that allows you to change your horse's appearance.  This sadly only works on your first horse, so no Friesians with beautiful skins as of yet, but it's still really nice.  I have heard that there is a bug that if you do it on one of your Arabians or Friesians and go back to the stable it somehow makes it so other people can see a pattern change on your horse but you cannot, making it so you can have a non-starter color-changed horse, but it's kinda pointless if you can't see it. I retrieved Opalmist from Horse Island for the opportunity to have a nebula horse! I think I prefer the dark blue hair color with the nebula pattern, but it's random which one you get and I didn't want to stand there for ten minutes trying to get that combination and I'm pretty happy with this one. After realizing that there might be some reward for doing so, I decided to hunt down every ghost that can be found as part of the new Halloween event. So far, I've found 21 and I don't think that's all of them because Mrs. Holdsworth isn't offering a new quest. Here's what I used as a guide.
