Star Stable Online Etc

Hey StarFam! I don't know about you, but I love all the new Midsummer wreaths. I thought it was really easy to find the first flower, in Moorland, but I had trouble locating the next one I went after, the one near Silverglade Winery, so I thought I'd upload some screenshots of their locations. Because I had no problems finding the Moorland one, I don't have a pic of that. Hey StarFam, I'm sure you already know this but the new Jorvik Wild Horses are here and there's a RAINBOW one and WOW! I'm trying to buy mine right now (both the orange/purple starry one and the rainbow one) but I'm having massive internet connection problems (either that or Star Stable is!). Just look at the rainbow one! {{swoon}} I tried buying the orange/purple one, naming him Starknight, but my game crashed afterward, saying it lost connection. I never even saw the "congratulations on your new horse" screen. Then, before heading back to my stable to see if I got him (because I'm lazy), I went over to the rainbow beauty and tried to come up with a name for him (Rainbowmagic? Rainbowdancer?) and then it crashed again while I had the name menu up.  Sheesh. That's after losing over 3 days of internet service in the past month thanks to crappy AT&T.  So now, I'm going to mess around and try to restart our router and was...

Yesterday evening was the day my Haflinger foal in the Star Stable Horses app leveled to 10, so of course I bought it immediately. (I had extra star coins lying around since I had been offline for so long.) After much deliberation, I finally decided to name her Snowdawn, as in a snowy dawn in which the sun spreads hues of rose and gold as it ascends to its pinnacle. OF. Photo by Tim She's so beautiful! I chose the middle shade of available Haflinger colors. It looks like she was laying in snow, because her belly and legs have white on them, plus she has a pink diamond on her nose! So... today I finally decided to bite the bullet and switch servers. It's been over a year since my sisters came online, and I've finally come to the conclusion that they're done with the game. I've been wanting to switch servers for a long time. The one I'm one, Spring Star, is now a Swedish server, and there are very few English-speaking people on it. It's very difficult to communicate with people who don't speak the same language as you, especially when some things rely on communication. For example, we couldn't tell each other where the rainbow spawned during the St. Patrick's Day event. Whenever I am looking for a group, or friends, or anything, I cannot find anyone who speaks English. It's become very frustrating. So... I switched. I finally decided on Wind Star (it was either that or Night Star) and I was so psyched to check out the new server. I logged in and... I was back to my old level 4 self, the one I had initially transferred to ...

I'm finally close to purchasing my level 10 Mustang, that I raised from a foal, through the StarStable app. He's level 9 right now, and I haven't done my daily chores yet because, while I want to purchase him, I still haven't decided on the right name. I love that they let you change the horse's name up until the moment you purchase it, but now I have too many options! My initial choice was Wildfeather but now I've come up with a long list of names to contend with it. (Oh btw I chose the "mouse grey" pinto Mustang.) The other options that are tied with it now are: Spiritecho Timelord Smokedream Lightrebel Powerplay I like the ones that have definite meanings, but I like some obscure ones as well. These are totally out of order but it's the order I thought it in: I like Lightrebel because it makes me think of  Star Wars and being a rebel Jedi using the light side of the Force. I like Spiritecho because it's catchy and makes me thin...

Jorvik Wild Horses, along with Gary Goldtooth, are back and bigger and better than ever! From the Star Stable website : How awesome are they?!!?! Just as with the ones last year, these magically transform when you get into a magic, natural area. This is the green version, which is quite pretty as well. The text in the purchase menu reads: " Around Jorvik's less accessible spots, herds of free-roaming Jorvik Wild Horses can be found. This breed is thought to be particularly special owing to the vibrant colours and patterns on the horses' body and hair. Colours such as blue, red, green, purple and orange aren't unusual, and even the horses' eyes can be unusually coloured in violet, red or clear blue. The horse is believed to have emerged in symbiosis with the Pandoric energy flows, which is said to explain their unique colourings. Many also believe the horses to have certain magical abilities. Howdy fellow Star Riders. Unfortunately, I have been unable to play for the past three months. The game has stopped working completely for me. When I attempt to run the .exe, if it opens and runs at all, it begins an update and gets stuck around 5%. Usually, the game just refuses to run at all. I've contacted customer support about this several times and they haven't helped me at all. :( It really bums me out that a game that I've invested so much time and money in is completely unresponsive about helping me and other fellow players who have Windows 10 (as that is the only conclusion we've drawn so far). I'm not even sure if it is because I run Windows 10, or if it's something unrelated, because there has been no troubleshooting done and I haven't been walked through anything. Well, I finally did it. I bought a Shire! After much deliberation, I finally decided on the gray one, and named her Noblesoul. To come up with the name, I went through a ton of name-play, and finally decided to look up the meaning of the name Brienne – the extremely tall female guardian/knight from Game of Thrones – because she's awesome and also very tall. Her name means noble and possibly also strong, and I finally settled on this name. Here are some other names I came up with: Noblebelle Noblegaze Noblechampion Guardianknight and Silverwind Silverwind has additional special meaning to me, because the Dothraki name I chose for myself is Vizhadori, which approximates to 'silver gust of wind'. Sometimes I forget to check the news page on the Star Stable website at least once a week, so I'm super glad I remembered to this time. For this week only, there are three magical horses available outside Firgrove. They change colors to become totally unique once they are out in nature, away from towns and stables. Star Stable says they listened to us to come up with these designs. Also, the Jorvik Wild Horse is a completely new model that we haven't seen before. I had been waiting for yesterday for a long time.  I knew they were going to release additional colors of the Icelandic horse, I just didn't know which ones!  I wanted to wait until they had released them before purchasing one, because I didn't want to regret my decision. Here are the new colors: I didn't know what color to call the top one, but it was my favorite of the three.  I think it's a light copper color.  The other two colors are white and pinto. Now that they've been released, I knew it was time to pick my own! Introducing... Sparkfly! I love the Icelandic horses, especially mine.  I was playing around with names, trying to find one I liked for him, and I stumbled upon Sparkfly.  (Like "sparks fly when"...)  I had intended to go with something with 'copper' in the name, but decided I liked the way this sounds and looks much more. Today I logged in for the first time in what feels like forever (but must not have been that long, because I only gained 400 SC in my absence).  I had checked the News  page and wanted to see the new Morgans.  I was not disappointed.  They're gorgeous! Here are some screenshots. While they are similar in appearance to the AQHs, they do not have the same animations for their movements. I absolutely love the one that almost looks like an Akhal-Teke, with very fair palomino-esque coloring.  I think I'm going to buy one and name her something with a Star in it.
