My New Beautiful Haflinger, Spirited Reputation, and New Arabians [and their Too-Long Legs]!!!

Yesterday evening was the day my Haflinger foal in the Star Stable Horses app leveled to 10, so of course I bought it immediately. (I had extra star coins lying around since I had been offline for so long.) After much deliberation, I finally decided to name her Snowdawn, as in a snowy dawn in which the sun spreads hues of rose and gold as it ascends to its pinnacle.

She's so beautiful! I chose the middle shade of available Haflinger colors. It looks like she was laying in snow, because her belly and legs have white on them, plus she has a pink diamond on her nose! (I think that's called a snip.)

I was going to see about purchasing new gear for her, but I may end up sticking with what I have her in right now. She's wearing the light pink set including leg wraps. I wanted to buy the cerise set available in New Hillcrest, but I looked at it on her and it's not as magnificent as I had hoped. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but it doesn't do anything for her coloring.

sorry, it was dark out!

I was excited to hear that they were redoing the Arabian horse model in-game, but I'm really disappointed by what they came out with. Is it just me, or are its legs like spider-length creepily long?
I know I'm not the only one who thinks this. Let me pull up some videos of its movements and similar opinions...

So she actually loves the new model but in the comments, there are a lot of people who disagree, many of whom do so rudely...

...

Today I finished getting reputation with Spirit, and am now Admired with him! Once my star coins refill tomorrow, I'm going to buy an apple and get him!

omg the HORSE HAT [it's a quest reward from Spirit rep]

The apple you use to win his affection costs 699 star coins.

It doesn't take very long if you know where to look for him. This chart helped me out a ton, as did this page on Jorvikipedia.

I found this in the comments section of the Star Stable facebook page

Also of great help was the fb page Star Stable Quest Questions (link to post here).

I was a bit worried about buying Spirit because I'll probably never use him, and he'll sit sad and alone in my stable, but at the same time he's limited edition and will disappear forever afterward, and I love the Spirit movies. (I'd love it even more if they made an in-game version of Rain for us to become friends with! She was gorgeous!) I'll post another update with pictures of him when I get him! [I'm excited but I'm not really sure why. He will be slower than other horses and I won't be able to put any gear on him, which means nothing that makes him faster, no decorations, and no pets, either. Maybe I'm just crashing my own party before it even begins. I tend to do that.]

ttfn... Thanks for reading and Happy Trails

Stars Over the Field Daily Quest

This post is intended to help those who are stuck or lost on the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest offered by Mario at the Observatory.  He tells you there are three stars that fell overnight, and then shows you through the telescope where they fell, but does not mark these locations on your map.  In order to review the locations, you must ride all the way back to the Observatory and check the telescope again. I've taken screenshots of the view through the telescope as well as the close-up view with my map included in the photo, in order to better show the location. Star Stone between boulders: Star Stone near ditch: It may be helpful at this time to mention that it is a little ways away from the bonfire for Midsummer Festival. Star Stone near the Baroness' race track: This one is really easy, so easy that I forgot to include a map picture.  It's right next to the gondola and construction area as soon as you come down from

Who let the donkeys out? (A Star Stable guide to save time!)

Heya StarFam, what’s up? I just finished finding all the mini-donkeys added on Wednesday’s update, thanks in large part to Minatozy’s video (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuW1lZiOE-g ) Because she already made such a great guide, I’d like to offer a different approach. Her video showed the donkeys in the order they’re listed in the journal. I’m going to show you the best route to take to waste the least amount of time. Read first : All listed coordinates are in x, y format. You can view coordinates by opening your in-game map and moving your mouse pointer over different areas of the map. The coordinates are listed above the description in the tooltip above your mouse pointer, in white font. (Some areas will say the name of the area [like The Forgotten Fields] next to the coordinates. Some won’t.) It will also show your current coordinates in the bottom right side of your map. It doesn’t show them on the minimap. If you left-mouse click on an area of the map, it will creat
