Valentine's Day Update

This week we had an interesting update for Valentine's Day.
With it came three new horses:
A gray Morab

a Morgan

and a Selle Francais

Have I ever told you I'm a sucker for gray horses?  I may even end up getting a gray horse in real life!  I still want the Oldenburg that costs a ridiculous amount for a standard model horse (890 I think) because I just love it's gray-almost-blue-roan coloring, but I can't justify paying that much for a horse with the old model.  I've gotten too attached to the nicer graphics the new models have.

This new update gives us a bunch of new quests and dailies to work on through the weekend.  Catherine the baker over in Jarlaheim and Donald the tailor in Silverglade both need our help to prepare for Valentine's Day.  (I'd say they're a bit late on preparations, as it's tomorrow, but I'm always willing to help out someone for our mutual benefit.)

These quests are a bit different from the norm.  Instead of waiting a day for a new quest to show up, it depends on how many times you do the repeatables.  Donald wants you to fetch him wool (which you have to shear yourself, and I ran into a bug where the shepherd wasn't giving me the shears when I picked up the quest - let me know if you ran into this too!), and two different colors of dye, purple from the vineyard and yellow from Mrs. Holdsworth.  Catherine wants a lot of different things!  So far I've brought her eggs, milk, chocolate, sugar, blueberries, and strawberries.  After she gets enough ingredients she will ask you to go around and test her treats on some residents of Jarlaheim, who will give you their thoughts - like "Delicious, but it's not the right time of year for a summer cake," at which point you return to Catherine and give her the bad news.

Anywho, I hope you girls are having fun with the new content and have a happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Trails,
~*Veronika Starstorm*~

Before I go, let me remind you to get your free star coins that you get from a code revealed on the Facebook page for Star Stable, and they also sent out an email to let us know that we can give a friend free Star Rider for 14 days with another code!

Stars Over the Field Daily Quest

This post is intended to help those who are stuck or lost on the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest offered by Mario at the Observatory.  He tells you there are three stars that fell overnight, and then shows you through the telescope where they fell, but does not mark these locations on your map.  In order to review the locations, you must ride all the way back to the Observatory and check the telescope again. I've taken screenshots of the view through the telescope as well as the close-up view with my map included in the photo, in order to better show the location. Star Stone between boulders: Star Stone near ditch: It may be helpful at this time to mention that it is a little ways away from the bonfire for Midsummer Festival. Star Stone near the Baroness' race track: This one is really easy, so easy that I forgot to include a map picture.  It's right next to the gondola and construction area as soon as you come down from

Who let the donkeys out? (A Star Stable guide to save time!)

Heya StarFam, what’s up? I just finished finding all the mini-donkeys added on Wednesday’s update, thanks in large part to Minatozy’s video (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuW1lZiOE-g ) Because she already made such a great guide, I’d like to offer a different approach. Her video showed the donkeys in the order they’re listed in the journal. I’m going to show you the best route to take to waste the least amount of time. Read first : All listed coordinates are in x, y format. You can view coordinates by opening your in-game map and moving your mouse pointer over different areas of the map. The coordinates are listed above the description in the tooltip above your mouse pointer, in white font. (Some areas will say the name of the area [like The Forgotten Fields] next to the coordinates. Some won’t.) It will also show your current coordinates in the bottom right side of your map. It doesn’t show them on the minimap. If you left-mouse click on an area of the map, it will creat
