A headache in a chest

Oi!  I just finished encountering something of an error that really threw a wrench in my plans for the day.  The following is the comment regarding this error that I put on ssoridethrough.com on the section for hidden quests:

"I don't know if I'm the only one who has experienced this, but an interesting thing happened to me during the hidden chest in Golden Hills quest.  Yesterday I had to chase Bob around after he fell into the water, and so today I had to use a boat to get to an otherwise inaccessible portion of the shore.  When I found the hidden chest, I first got a shovel from Jasper, and then needed to get a crowbar.  Rob is no longer at the old smuggler's cave, so I had to track him down in his new location to borrow his crowbar, at which point I'm told to open the chest.  At first I didn't read it properly and, after noticing that the chest was no longer in my bag, went to the location I had originally found the chest.  (My unorthodox method of travel involved falling off a cliff and thus circumventing the need to use the boat.)   After seeing that the chest was no longer in its original location, I reread the quest and saw that I had to go to the Smuggler's Cave to open it.  This was a problem for me, because there are now two Smuggler's Caves, and I didn't know which one to go to.  Because Rob had given me the quest near the new one, I assumed it was that one I had to go back to.  This was part of the larger problem of me having left behind my boat and not being able to get back to Bob and Rob in their new location.  I tried exiting the game and logging back in, and the boat was still on the other side, with them.  Now I had to pick the quest up from Rob, so I was in even more trouble.  I did eventually submit a ticket to try to get help, but while I was waiting, someone else used the boat, and when they did so a boat became available for me to use on my side of the shore.  I took it and headed back to Rob, who gave me the chest quest again.  Even though Bob, in his new location, is the one to whom you must turn in the quest, the chest was not in the new cave with him, and I had to leave the new cave, cross again on the boat, and run all the way back to the Labyrinthine Coast to get to the old Smuggler's Cave, where the chest was nonsensically waiting for me.  Now, back to the new cave to turn in the quest to Bob!
It seems silly that this happened, as the events seem to contradict themselves, but I'm glad I got it sorted out and wanted to post this here in case anyone else encountered these errors."

Here you see me happily reunited with the chest.

Now I'm off to be frustrated by the Sun Circle daily quests, which are, for me at least, uncommonly hard.

Happy Trails!

Stars Over the Field Daily Quest

This post is intended to help those who are stuck or lost on the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest offered by Mario at the Observatory.  He tells you there are three stars that fell overnight, and then shows you through the telescope where they fell, but does not mark these locations on your map.  In order to review the locations, you must ride all the way back to the Observatory and check the telescope again. I've taken screenshots of the view through the telescope as well as the close-up view with my map included in the photo, in order to better show the location. Star Stone between boulders: Star Stone near ditch: It may be helpful at this time to mention that it is a little ways away from the bonfire for Midsummer Festival. Star Stone near the Baroness' race track: This one is really easy, so easy that I forgot to include a map picture.  It's right next to the gondola and construction area as soon as you come down from

Who let the donkeys out? (A Star Stable guide to save time!)

Heya StarFam, what’s up? I just finished finding all the mini-donkeys added on Wednesday’s update, thanks in large part to Minatozy’s video (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuW1lZiOE-g ) Because she already made such a great guide, I’d like to offer a different approach. Her video showed the donkeys in the order they’re listed in the journal. I’m going to show you the best route to take to waste the least amount of time. Read first : All listed coordinates are in x, y format. You can view coordinates by opening your in-game map and moving your mouse pointer over different areas of the map. The coordinates are listed above the description in the tooltip above your mouse pointer, in white font. (Some areas will say the name of the area [like The Forgotten Fields] next to the coordinates. Some won’t.) It will also show your current coordinates in the bottom right side of your map. It doesn’t show them on the minimap. If you left-mouse click on an area of the map, it will creat
