She's Back...

Hey #StarFam, today's the day...
somehow, magically, wondrously...
I was able to get into Star Stable today!

Previously I was stuck at 5% downloading, but it finally finished today and I was able to play the game!

So now, here I am!

Now that I can play, I got a chance to check out the super cute Lipizzans and the new dappled gray horses that were recently released. Now I'm having trouble choosing either the new, darker gray English Thoroughbred and the lighter gray Lippizan.

After reading a lot of things about SSO online, I have decided that MAYBE there is something to the whole rumored horse speed thing. For the first time ever, I'm open to the idea that certain horses are innately faster than others. This has not been confirmed, and I don't think the debates will ever end, but for now let's just say that I'm open-minded.

If the video I watched is correct, then the English Thoroughbred (frequently referred to as ETB) is faster than the Lipizzan. I already have an ETB and do not currently have any Lipizzans. I really like the coloring on the dark gray ETB, and prefer it to the coloring of the Lipizzan. I have a good name that I like for a Lipizzan that just wouldn't make sense for an ETB: Faithwings. (Like leap of faith, and the fact that Lipizzans can levade and perform acrobatic stunts that require a lot of faith and trust.) I do not yet have a good name picked out for a gray ETB, and I also do not have enough star coins to be able to buy both.

(this is the ETB in gorgeous dappled gray)

Also, I'm thinking about revamping my blog and making it more aesthetically pleasing, I just don't even know where to start or how to begin.

What do you gals think? Do any of you have experience with Blogger?

Well, that's it for now. I'm off to the doctor to get a back shot, that will hopefully ease this round of crippling pain. It's been so bad and I was so lucky to get in to be seen so soon, but I'm nervous because it's my first epidural injection without the help of sedatives. Eeek.

Anyways...
Thanks for reading and Happy Trails!

Stars Over the Field Daily Quest

This post is intended to help those who are stuck or lost on the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest offered by Mario at the Observatory.  He tells you there are three stars that fell overnight, and then shows you through the telescope where they fell, but does not mark these locations on your map.  In order to review the locations, you must ride all the way back to the Observatory and check the telescope again. I've taken screenshots of the view through the telescope as well as the close-up view with my map included in the photo, in order to better show the location. Star Stone between boulders: Star Stone near ditch: It may be helpful at this time to mention that it is a little ways away from the bonfire for Midsummer Festival. Star Stone near the Baroness' race track: This one is really easy, so easy that I forgot to include a map picture.  It's right next to the gondola and construction area as soon as you come down from

Who let the donkeys out? (A Star Stable guide to save time!)

Heya StarFam, what’s up? I just finished finding all the mini-donkeys added on Wednesday’s update, thanks in large part to Minatozy’s video (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuW1lZiOE-g ) Because she already made such a great guide, I’d like to offer a different approach. Her video showed the donkeys in the order they’re listed in the journal. I’m going to show you the best route to take to waste the least amount of time. Read first : All listed coordinates are in x, y format. You can view coordinates by opening your in-game map and moving your mouse pointer over different areas of the map. The coordinates are listed above the description in the tooltip above your mouse pointer, in white font. (Some areas will say the name of the area [like The Forgotten Fields] next to the coordinates. Some won’t.) It will also show your current coordinates in the bottom right side of your map. It doesn’t show them on the minimap. If you left-mouse click on an area of the map, it will creat
