Jorvik Wild Horses are here... and I love them!

Jorvik Wild Horses, along with Gary Goldtooth, are back and bigger and better than ever!

From the Star Stable website:

How awesome are they?!!?!

Just as with the ones last year, these magically transform when you get into a magic, natural area.

This is the green version, which is quite pretty as well.

The text in the purchase menu reads:
" Around Jorvik's less accessible spots, herds of free-roaming Jorvik Wild Horses can be found. This breed is thought to be particularly special owing to the vibrant colours and patterns on the horses' body and hair. Colours such as blue, red, green, purple and orange aren't unusual, and even the horses' eyes can be unusually coloured in violet, red or clear blue.

The horse is believed to have emerged in symbiosis with the Pandoric energy flows, which is said to explain their unique colourings. Many also believe the horses to have certain magical abilities. Jorvik Wild Horses are usually a little shorter and more thick-bodied than most - similar to Fjord horses - but can also have other variations in the heights of their withers.

Their unique colours and patterns don't ever seem to show up when they're around civilisation, but they're at their strongest when out in nature.

PLEASE NOTE: The Jorvik Wild Horse is not as fast as other horses. "

I love them all, but had to spend money to choose any of them, so decided on these two, Angeldust and Stormmagic:
Angeldust (in wild colors)

Stormmagic (in "tame" or "village" colors)

I had to borrow money from my hubby, who is feeling terrible, so I felt pretty bad, but but but... pretty, limited edition horses!!! How could I say no to a gorgeous giant pink horse, or a flaming blue-black horse that looks amazing in every light?

If you haven't logged on in awhile, you are definitely going to want to log in just to check these out. You won't be disappointed. Well, you might be, but that won't be my fault, if you're just too tough to please! Remember, each one costs 599 star coins, and not only are they a bit slower than regular horses, but they also don't have any base stats. Who cares, right? I mean LOOK at them. ;)

I think I need to make up for this by making more jewelry, getting down to business.
If y'all haven't checked it out yet, my page is VeRajArt.

Thanks for reading and happy trails...

Stars Over the Field Daily Quest

This post is intended to help those who are stuck or lost on the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest offered by Mario at the Observatory.  He tells you there are three stars that fell overnight, and then shows you through the telescope where they fell, but does not mark these locations on your map.  In order to review the locations, you must ride all the way back to the Observatory and check the telescope again. I've taken screenshots of the view through the telescope as well as the close-up view with my map included in the photo, in order to better show the location. Star Stone between boulders: Star Stone near ditch: It may be helpful at this time to mention that it is a little ways away from the bonfire for Midsummer Festival. Star Stone near the Baroness' race track: This one is really easy, so easy that I forgot to include a map picture.  It's right next to the gondola and construction area as soon as you come down from ...

A.A.E and Mario of the Observatory 'Stars Over the Field' Daily Quest Star Stone Locations - Tuesday

For those of us who have trouble memorizing in-game locations after viewing vague imagery for only a few seconds, I've created this guide to the 'Stars Over the Field' daily quest given by Mario at the Observatory for A.A.E. reputation. Each day has a different set of three locations for the stars that have fallen. This is Tuesday's set: Star Stone 1 (as viewed from the telescope) (as viewed close up) Star Stone 2 (from telescope) (close-up) Star Stone 3 (from telescope) (close-up) I'm going to try to compile all of my locations into one post and will have that as a link on the side, hopefully soon. Thanks for reading and happy trails!
